CHEFS CULINAR in Wiskitki is a state-of-the-art distribution centre for the catering industry. It is a place with excellent supplies and the best service for the foodservice sector.

Project description

In 2021, a state-of-the-art distribution centre for the catering industry opened in Wiskitki, near Warsaw, forming the heart of the CHEFS CULINAR organisation. It is a company with German roots that has been active in the catering market for almost 100 years. With many years of experience and an exclusive focus on food, it understands the industry perfectly and is able to meet its needs.

The facility includes a 3,100 m² office and a warehouse of approximately 40,000 m², divided into eight separate temperature zones: for dry, chilled and frozen products, with automatic temperature and humidity control.

The facility was initially designed by the Kubatura Antonowicz, Napiórkowski S.K.A. design studio and, at a later stage, completed by the Tacakiewicz Ferma Kresek Sp. z o.o. design studio.

The advanced, single-component system was used on the façade of the office building. It is based on panels consisting of steel facings and a K-Roc® mineral wool insulation core. The system has excellent thermal insulation properties and contains no thermal bridges.

The façade area was 3,100 m², and two colours were selected: R7024 and R9006.

Assumptions

The design team wanted to integrate the external blinds into the façade panels and, by using the Matrix K-Roc® modular system, it was possible to conceal the window blinds within the panel area.

The final result

The building’s front façades were constructed according to the designer’s specifications, and the use of the Matrix K-Roc® system achieved the appearance of a high-standard office building façade.
