We supplied NewCold with KS X-dek™ roof panels and KS TL wall panels. The excellent insulating properties of the building and our products were confirmed by independent tests.
The cold store project in Kutno for NewCold required the use of exceptional insulation solutions. We used the KS X-Dek™ flat roof system and KS TL wall insulation, specially developed for use in cold storage buildings.
As a result, we achieved a watertight façade whose insulating properties were recognised by an independent institute as the best in Poland.
A new dimension of insulation for modern refrigeration systems
The client’s requirement was to ensure a very high level of insulation protection for the building structure. We were able to achieve this without any issues thanks to the use of our products. The aim of this project, one of the largest cold storage facilities of its kind in Poland, was to maintain a constant low temperature inside and prevent the building from heating up from the outside. Above all, the insulation had to be effective, because cooling consumes more energy than heating.
