Modern Solutions for the Future

5 min read22 May 2026

If you are an architect, engineer or developer looking for an inspiring and reliable product for your project, Kingspan's insulated façade, wall and roof systems offer solutions for a wide range of applications. We can prepare a tailored proposal to meet the unique technical, aesthetic and budget requirements of your project, while providing technical support throughout every phase of the project, where required.

Kingspan offers wall and roof panels, as well as architectural façade systems, covering a wide range of applications and architectural styles. The company's product portfolio includes solutions for both new-build and existing buildings. We particularly recommend products incorporating QuadCore® insulation technology, characterised by low thermal conductivity and long-term thermal performance. Subject to project requirements and conditions, an extended manufacturer's warranty of up to 25 years may be available.

Particular attention should be given to our Dri-Design® façade system, based on aluminium cassettes, which has been designed to accommodate not only simple, clean-lined concepts, but also more complex and sophisticated façade designs. Dri-Design® combines a distinctive architectural appearance and a durable solution with simple and fast installation, together with high levels of technical performance. The cassette elements are manufactured from 100% aluminium. Over time, they retain their shape, structural integrity and appearance. Thanks to automated manufacturing processes, every element is characterised by high quality and dimensional accuracy. All system components achieve an A2-s1,d0 fire classification in accordance with EN 13501-1:2019. The cassette elements are available in a wide range of colours and finishes. Aluminium also offers sustainability benefits, as it is 100% recyclable.

The cassettes can be installed in three ways: fixed directly to a sandwich panel, installed using aluminium spacer rails, or fixed to a ventilated façade. The first installation method offers significant energy-saving potential throughout the building lifecycle, while also simplifying façade construction and providing an efficient and sustainable solution. This façade system is available in a wide range of colours, sizes and textures, including perforated options. Thanks to the different cassette variants available (Flat, Shadow and Tapered), three-dimensional façade designs can also be created.

The Flat elements feature a smooth surface and can be combined with both Shadow and Tapered elements.

Each Shadow cassette element can be designed with a projection depth between 33 mm and 100 mm, creating rich textures and dynamic patterns across the building façade. Their use adds depth and character to any architectural design.

Tapered elements can project from the façade plane along selected edges, creating inclined surfaces in different directions. The degree of projection can be specified between 33 mm and 75 mm. The ability to vary the design of individual elements makes it possible to create dynamic façade surfaces.

In addition, each element can be supplied with perforations at an additional cost. Through variations in the size, density and location of perforations, perforated panels can create unique light and shadow effects, while also enabling the reproduction of graphics or images on the façade.

Modular façade systems such as Matrix® and Evolution® are unique solutions that effectively combine building structure, thermal insulation and façade finish functions within a single component. The panels feature a flat external surface combined with either a K-Roc® mineral wool insulation core or a premium PIR insulation core, QuadCore®. By utilising the factory-engineered panel joint, the façade forms a single, interconnected surface. Panels are available with both horizontal and vertical shadow-joint configurations. Joint widths are typically 15-25 mm, although widths of up to 50 mm are also available. The various options can be viewed in dedicated datasheets.

The flat façade surface incorporates the premium 50-micron Spectrum coating system, offering exceptional aesthetic qualities and colour retention. Alternative coating systems, including PES and PVDF, are also available on request. Evolution® and Matrix® modular façade systems are available in RAL colour shades, as well as bespoke Kingspan colours.

The Matrix® panel is a façade system featuring a K-Roc® mineral wool insulation core. It is designed for horizontal installation and includes factory-engineered corner solutions for building corners.

The Evolution® façade system is available with either QuadCore® or IPN insulation technology. These panels are primarily intended for horizontal installation, although vertical installation is also possible in some circumstances. For maximum design flexibility, they can be easily combined with Kingspan AWP profiled insulated panel systems. These modern façade panels with a distinctive appearance can be used on even the most demanding architectural projects, while helping to save both time and cost through rapid installation. The façade system is complemented by a range of corner solutions, including curved options, as well as high-quality aluminium cover trims.

The façade and wall system portfolio is complemented by trapezoidal roof sandwich panels and X-Dek™ roof panels. The latter are designed primarily for large-span flat roofs with roof slopes as low as 3%. X-Dek™ roof panels are lightweight and can be installed immediately after delivery to site. Typical spans range from 4 m to 6 m, subject to structural design requirements. Combined with foam insulation and minimised thermal bridging at junctions, the panels contribute to reducing energy costs associated with heating and cooling building interiors. They also contribute to reducing both operational CO₂ emissions and the embodied carbon footprint of the building. Panel lengths can reach up to 15 m, with a module width of 1000 mm and insulation thicknesses of 80 mm and 100 mm.
