Maersk Logistics Park in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is a logistics development designed to support warehousing, cargo handling and temperature-controlled storage. Kingspan Insulated Panels contributed to the project with its QuadCore™ insulated panel solutions, supporting the building envelope requirements of a modern logistics facility.
Logistics facilities combining general warehousing with cold storage require building envelope solutions that address different operational demands. These include thermal performance, fire safety, durability and the need to maintain controlled internal environments for temperature-sensitive goods. The project required suitable envelope solutions for both the wider warehouse areas and the specialised cold storage spaces.
