Building Envelope Solutions
Our approach extends beyond individual panels. Insulated roof and wall panels, architectural façades, daylighting and complementary accessories work together to complete the building envelope. Combining advanced insulation technologies with these systems, Kingspan helps project teams address demanding performance, design and sustainability requirements of modern construction.

Insulated Sandwich Panels
Kingspan insulated sandwich panels combine an insulation core bonded between two metal facings into a single factory-manufactured component, bringing insulation and roof or wall construction together. The core limits heat transfer, while the bonded construction provides structural stability and supports efficient installation. Used for roofs, external and internal walls, façades and ceilings, insulated panels support efficient construction and help meet thermal, structural, fire and other performance requirements.
Insulation Core Technologies
Our insulated panel systems are available with different insulation cores to address a range of project and performance requirements. Core type, thickness and panel configuration can be selected according to the application and required thermal, fire and acoustic performance. The available options vary by panel system and market.
QuadCore®
Kingspan’s advanced hybrid insulation core, developed to deliver high thermal performance within insulated panel systems. Relevant QuadCore® panel systems can achieve a declared thermal conductivity (λD) of 0.019 W/m·K, helping to reduce heat transfer and support high levels of thermal efficiency with relatively slim panel constructions.
K-Roc®
A mineral wool insulation core combining thermal insulation with strong fire performance and acoustic properties. Depending on the panel system and specification, K-Roc® panels can achieve reaction-to-fire classifications up to A2-s1,d0, making them suitable for applications where fire safety is an important design consideration.
IPN
A rigid polyisocyanurate insulation core used across insulated roof and wall panel systems. It provides thermal insulation as part of the complete panel construction and is suitable for a broad range of building applications, in particular where high thermal performance is required.
Continued innovation
Panel technologies continue to develop in response to changing building performance and environmental requirements. Depending on the country and product range, additional solutions include LEC panels, developed to reduce embodied carbon compared with equivalent standard products, and AIR variants designed to provide enhanced airtightness. Availability and technical performance vary by product and market.
Digital innovation supports the specification process as well, with tools such as KOIN, Panel Selector, BIM/Revit resources and 3D Viewer helping with product selection, specification and project planning in selected markets.

Tested performance
Kingspan insulated panel systems are tested and classified against recognised standards covering thermal, structural and fire performance. In Europe, EN 14509 provides the product standard for self-supporting double-skin metal-faced insulating panels, while fire performance is classified according to standards including EN 13501-1 for reaction to fire and EN 13501-2 for fire resistance.
Selected panel systems also carry independent third-party certifications and approvals, including FM Approvals, depending on the product and market. Relevant FM testing standards include FM 4880, FM 4881 and FM 4882 for different panel applications.
